# The Best Indoor Activities for Kids in Rock Hill, South Carolina

When the weather outside is not ideal and you have a house full of kids, as parents and caregivers, we want to find the best activities for the kids that will keep them entertained &andhappy. Check out this list of some of the best indoor activities in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

## Indoor Activities for Kids in Rock Hill

### Adventure Air Sports

[Adventure Air Sports](https://adventureairsports.com/locations/rock-hill/) is a great place for our kids to enjoy themselves and also burn tons of energy.

There are so many different attractions in one location that each child would enjoy. Whether they like to play video games in our arcade, battle it out on our battle beams, or even show their skills on our basketball court. All in all, there is something for everyone
Parents and caregivers like to relax knowing that our children are in a safe, fun environment. Each employee takes safety very seriously by monitoring each child & engaging with them

### Indoor Movie Day

Sometimes when the weather’s bad, we do not want to haul all the kids, bags, and snacks into the car! Creating a movie theater at home is a creative way to create a relaxed atmosphere while also giving the kids something they love: snacks and a great movie.
Let the kids make their own pallet on the floor or couch with pillows, covers, & lots of blankets.

Put together a snack box with their favorite snacks and drinks, then start the movie. There are so many great movie platforms to choose from. Let the kids pick out the movie.

### Indoor Science Experiments

Do you want something educational and fun for the kids to do? Creating science experiments is a great way to incorporate education and fun. My kids love doing science experiments (even if it gets a little messy). Here are just a few experiments my family and I have done:

**Rainbow Milk: Age: 4+**
You’ll need: Milk, food coloring, dish soap, cotton swabs
What happens: Colors race around the milk like magic
Science: Fat molecules + surface tension

**Invisible Ink: Age: 6+**
You’ll need: Lemon juice, cotton swab, paper, lamp
What happens: Secret messages appear when heated
Science: Oxidation

**Paper Bridge Challenge: Age: 6+**
You’ll need: Paper, books, coins
Challenge: Build a bridge that holds the most coins
Science: Structural engineering

There are so many more fun experiments for the kiddos to do that will keep them happy and engaged while also learning.
